Welcome To THE STAFF ROOM's blog...

With this blog we are looking for your input. Tell us what you need to see and hear about that relates to employment. Is there a service you are not sure if we provide or not that you are maybe even thinking about. Are you tired of your current job, but can not quit and need to find something else in a confidential manner? Or are you an employer that needs to do a "special" or confidential search?
Let's us know how we can help....if we don't know...we can not help!

Amazing what people really think

Hello all....

From time to time I get to hear, what I think, is it all. Only to move forward and discover some time down the road that this is really hearing it all.
People come and go from your life. They stay for a short time, long time or pop in and out of your life, either personally or professionally or both.
Once you get past the thin layer of defense, they let down their guard and you get to see the real person behind the skin. People start to change colour, so to speak, and they let you know what they really think. They feel as if you have developed a "relationship" where they can confide in you and vise verse.
Within the business world I believe that people should really think before they speak no matter how long you have known each other and how "tight" you or they might THINK you are.
When you are within a professional setting it is never too soon or too late to make your professionalism shine through. Even though you have been with a company for 20 years and you have worked for who is now your equal, still have some professional etiquettee. Even as the years go through your career, you are still always looked at in different ways when you leave different impressions for ALL levels of people within the organization.

So just some advise, please ALWAYS remember to be professional regardless of your employment level or years of service. There is always someone thinking of how you can be more of a value within, should you let down your guard, your letting go of that value within yourself.

Remember, no one is perfect, but it never hurts to try within reason.
